Terms of Service for GetProPaid

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GetProPaid (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using GetProPaid, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You are liable for all activities that occur under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@getpropaid.com.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
Plans:
Free Plan – Limited features (3 clients, 1 active proposal). No credit card required.
Solo Plan – 19/month(or182/year, 20% discount). Unlimited clients, proposals, e‑signatures, invoices.
Agency Plan – 49/month(or470/year, 20% discount). All Solo features plus unlimited team members, recurring invoices, and removal of GetProPaid branding.
Free Trial:
Solo and Agency plans include a 7‑day free trial. No credit card required to start the trial.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card will be charged automatically (unless you have not added a card – the plan will then downgrade to Free).
Billing:
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
You may cancel anytime from your account Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds for partial months.
We use Stripe and 2Checkout as payment processors. By subscribing, you agree to their terms and privacy policies.
5. Payment Processing for Client Invoices
Freelancers and agencies connect their own Stripe or 2Checkout accounts to receive payments from clients.
GetProPaid does not hold or process client payments – funds go directly to your connected payment account.
Transaction fees (e.g., Stripe’s 2.9% + $0.30) are applied by the payment processor, not by GetProPaid.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Use the Service to send spam or harass others.
Reverse engineer or copy any part of the Service.
Violation may result in immediate termination of your account.
7. Data Ownership & Privacy
You retain ownership of all data you upload (client information, proposals, contracts, invoices).
GetProPaid does not claim ownership of your content.
Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We never sell your personal data.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service (code, design, branding, trademarks) is owned by GetProPaid / BuildRixs.
You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.
Removing “Powered by GetProPaid” is permitted only for Agency plan subscribers.
9. Termination
By You:
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Your data will be anonymised within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g., invoices retained for 7 years).
By Us:
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. We will attempt to notify you by email.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetProPaid and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GetProPaid harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Manchester, UK.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
